Graphics and Interface Designer
Bayleaf, a Yaletown software development company specializing in web design and application development is looking for a talented and creative Graphics/Interface Designer with strong cross browser production skills.

As a member of our development team, you will be required to interact with customers and must be able to work well within a team environment. Excellent communications skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
The successful applicant will perform the following duties:
- work with clients to capture their ideas and business requirements to enable the creation of engaging designs that meet their business objectives;
- design and develop user focused cross browser complaint user interfaces;
- integrate front-end templates with back-end functionality;
- create and edit content for the web;
- cross browser and functionality testing.
Required Skills
- Strong design skills using Adobe Creative Suite;
- Ability to hand-code standards-compliant HTML/XHTML and CSS;
- Strong understanding of usability and web accessibility issues;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work on several projects concurrently
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in Flash, Flex, or Ajax or related technologies;
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO);
- Experience in Print;
- Familiarity with version control software
Education:
- Degree or diploma in design or minimum 2 years work experience;
This is a full time salaried position at our Yaletown offices in Vancouver.
