Bayleaf, a full service IT consulting company that believes in creating long standing relationships with its clients, it's one of the sources of our success and longevity. We have an immediate opening a full-time position as a Web Application Developer with ColdFusion experience.

Job Description:

The successful candidate(s) will perform the following duties:

  • Development of dynamic business web applications in ColdFusion v8-11 and Microsoft C#/ASP.NET
  • Design and use of MS SQL and Oracle databases
  • Documentation of code and adhoc technical requirements
  • Interaction with project managers, business analysts & clients

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience developing dynamic business web applications in ColdFusion and .NET, experience with other programming languages such as PHP or Java an asset
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience with MS SQL, mySQL and Oracle
  • A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, EXT toolkit and JavaScript
  • Experience with the structured coding frameworks such as ModelGlue and MVC
  • Understanding of Web Development standards and Best Practices including a structured approach to coding and documentation
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prepare documentation including requirements and specifications, detailed design proposals and end user documentation
  • Experience using Subversion and/or GIT, JIRA and Confluence
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under tight deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a security screening and may be required to obtain a CIISD security clearance
