Douglas College had extremely ambitious requirements when they decided to simultaneously streamline their internal curriculum development process and launch a new website.
Implementing Decision Academic’s Curriculum Navigator’s platform allowed Douglas to streamline their manual, paper-based curriculum development process while substantially reducing the traditional 6 month wait time students endured to access changes.
The Sitecore Experience Platform CMS simplified authoring for Douglas’s over 200 content contributors while ensuring that security, governance and brand guidelines were enforced.
The key to getting all the elements right was planning, planning, planning. With Douglas as a partner, we determined requirements, selected appropriate technology, formulated a digital and web strategy and carried out an information architecture overhaul and visual redesign. With such a well-defined roadmap to follow, we were able to launch a site that addressed current needs while building a foundation for future phases.
