Client Needs

The Doctors of BC website and membership portal had been previously developed and maintained internally on the Drupal CMS platform version 7. After an external UX assessment had taken place providing recommendations, Doctor’s of BC found they no longer had the internal resources to develop the required solution or perform the Drupal upgrade. As DoBC had already been a long-standing client of Bayleaf’s, they approached us for help, to implement updates and improvements to the website and portal. As the relationship deepened, Bayleaf assigned long-term Drupal development resources to provide ongoing support for projects.

Our Solutions

After an external UX assessment, Bayleaf reviewed the findings and recommendations, and turned them into actionable design and development work. These enhancements allowed the organization to see vast improvements over what was in place.

Some items accomplished in the early releases:

  • design update to enhance account login
  • Information Architecture review
  • revising drop-down menus
  • Club MD design landing page design
  • mobile enhancements

Bayleaf has continued to partner with DoBC to provide support, expertise, and the best online experience for its membership. Bayleaf and DoBC work together daily to addressing the fast-paced changes and work required. We continue to be their trusted partner for their website.

This work has included:

  • developing custom forms that integrate with DoBC internal systems (passport, mfiles)
  • development of online membership cards
  • enhancing the DoBC committee application
