Client Needs

The Sauder School of Business is a leading academic business school and renowned across the world. It includes numerous areas of focus, research and teaching with many different delivery methods, branding styles and requirement, each targeted to specific audiences in the academic and professional spheres.

Their existing content management system (CMS) was not managing the demands required of the organization. Bayleaf had worked with Sauder before on other projects and so Sauder turned to Bayleaf to structure a solid evaluation and decision process for a new CMS. A key factor was the integration with other Sauder business systems.

Our Solutions

APPROACH AND ASSESSMENT

After gathering key requirements and factors necessary to support Sauder’s complex website publishing needs, Bayleaf defined a structured evaluation approach and process to ensure an optimal platform was selected to replace their existing CMS platform.

Bayleaf worked with the Sauder team to define the key evaluation factors and criteria. Once this was agreed, Bayleaf then lead the assessment process, starting with research on leading education CMS providers. Working through the evaluation process with the Sauder Steering Committee, the evaluation outcome resulted in the decision to transition to the Sitecore Experience CMS as the best platform to meet Sauder’s needs.

Sauder relied on Bayleaf to bring our expertise to bear in the evaluation approach as well as web properties, support for diverse branding and styling, and recommendations on integration options across many associated business platforms.
